Hi! I’m Joseph Szymborski, a master’s student at McGill University in Prof. Luke M. McCaffrey’s lab who’s recently submitted his thesis on machine learning approaches for the recognition of breast cancers.

I’ve a passion for making complex things simple, and inspiring confidence in critical decisions through quantitative approaches. Telling stories in accessible way using data analysis and visualisation is an essential step in better understanding the world around us and making better choices.

I’ve been coding for as long as I’ve had access to a computer, with my first foray being VB6, and later in high school learning the dark arts of unsafe PHP. Nowadays, most of the code I write is Python and Rust.
